Things to do

Shoreditch is one of our favourite places in London, with many things to see and do. It's worth exploring the area on foot to see all the cool street art. Brick Lane, Hanbury Street, and Rivington Street are some of the more famous spots.

Brick Lane is a must-visit area famous for its curry houses, vintage shops and markets. On weekends, the Sunday Upmarket or vintage market is well worth a visit. A must is a visit to the oldest Beigel shop in London. The Beigel Shop was established in 1855, and the Salt Beef is incredible.

While in Shoreditch, a Street Market is a must. Some of our recommendations are Spitalfields Market or the Old Truman Brewery market.

If you like shopping, head down to Shoreditch High Street and Redchurch Street for eclectic finds. Boxpark is also a unique retail and eating experience as the whole site is made from shipping containers. Enjoy great street food, bars and pop-up shops.

For those needing green space, Shoreditch has parks, such as Shoreditch Park or Hoxton Square.

Shoreditch is a great place to go out, with many bars, clubs, and live music venues. The area also has some great restaurants. We have listed some of our favourites below.

To eat

  • Dishoom Shoreditch: This restaurant serves Bombay comfort food and drinks all day.
  • Shoreditch House: Part of the Soho House group set in a converted warehouse with a great rooftop pool.
  • The Clove Club: A fine dining two Michelin-starred restaurant set in the historic rooms of Shoreditch Town Hall.
  • Lyle's: This Michelin-starred restaurant showcases the best British ingredients through its ever-changing menu.
  • Flat Iron Shoreditch: High-quality steak at affordable prices. We recommend their signature flat iron steak; the dripping chips are a must.
  • Pizza East Shoreditch: Pizza East offers delicious wood-fired pizzas in a trendy and relaxed setting.

Bars

  • The Hoxton: Great for an after-work drink, meeting, or bite to eat.
